Christmas has come and gone, but the feeling will last forever, it was so great to spend time with the family that was here. It just seems like we will never all be together at the same time, but in our heart we have them with us. Times have been good and yet hard. We have had fairly good health, but the year has had its ups and downs, not everything has gone as planned, but we have all seemed to weather the storm. Its great to see the little kids, express their belief and to be excited over the smallest thing. To have them get along has been the best present ever. I miss the other grandkids and must finish a project for them that I just barely got started. Life with the little ones is what life is about. I miss my mom, she truely loved Christmas and always had the spirit with her. Memories of my dads passing at this time of year were renewed when my friends father passed away. Its amazing how much influence our parents have in our life, even after death. I hope to have a great new year and hope all of you do too. My love to all my family, both near and far, and to my friends who have helped me over the hard times.

It has been along time, since I wrote here. School has started summer is over and life is busy. The kids are all busy doing whatever it takes to keep their heads afloat in this trying time. Brandon and Becki have started a new venture, their own garage door business and Melisa is working in a lawyers office.Burton and Heather just got back from working in Hawaii. There is school, soccer and football in the air. We had some great fishing days. Major problems with the boat and yet still a very good summer. Darleen and Samantha have gone to Basic training, and Sammie has graduated from Basic, Darleen is just starting. What very smart and brave girls to go out on their own with such a determination to accomplish great things.Life is good and we are lucky to be living in this world.Kaitlyn is off to college again.

Had alot of things happen, flooded basement, so much summer and not enough time to accomplish all, and am extremely lazy. Have had 3 good fishing trips, and now its time to get ready to go back to school. Hope I get a few things done in the next 9 days.

well this last week has been exciting, I started out doing the right thing and attending enrichment night. Before going I managed to do something to my shoulder. It got worse as the night went on and into the next day. Stopped at the Drs. the next morning should have gone to emergency the night before. They said I broke I bone in my shoulder. Advised to see my own Dr. in 2 wks. Pain got worse went to my Dr. on Thursday, scheduled me for surgery on Friday, repaired the shoulder and reattached what ever broke off with screws and sent me home. That was on the 20th, missed my yearly scrapbook expo. Went to work 1/2 day today, and hope to finish the rest of the week. Ron and Becki, Mac and Brenda been tending me. Lots of well wishers in this time, which I am greatful for. Of course the worst part it was my right shoulder and so I am getting pretty good with my left hand. Need to go to sleep, hope tomorrow will be a better day. Greatful to have priesthood blessings.

Well today was a great day. Our school was one of 10 schools in Utah to get a Jazz player. We got Andrei Kirelinko and he is tall. One of the teacher was asked to choose 2 students to read with him and Colton was chosen. He was so cute and did a great job. He answered lots of questions and I was totally impressed with him and his answers. If I am lucky I'll have some pictures

Well today is Feb. 15, for many reasons this is an important date. One of the special ones is that is Camerons birthday. I'll never forget walking into the birthing center and hear his first cry. It made the day special for me. He has grown to be a great kid and I enjoy being with him, because he has such a fun spirit about him. On Feb. 11 Kaitlyn celebrated her birthday and I was there when she was born, and she was the first child I had ever seen born, It amazed me to see the miracle that was created by her parents and with Heavenly Fathers blessing. Colton celebrated his 12th birthday on Feb.3 and was ordained a deacon last Sunday. And in a few days Cecilee and Taylor will be celebrating their birthdays, Cecilee will be 11 and Taylor will be 12 and be baptized on the 28th. No greater joy in this life can replace the joy that can come from your children and grandchildren. Sometimes you have trials, but it doesn't take away the joy.
I had a myleogram this week and if I had to choose between doing this again and having my teeth pulled out I think I would choose the teeth pulling. I am getting over it but slowly and now it seems like my back is worse. Well it looks like surgery in June. But life is good. My sweet husband gave me the greatest Valentine and I could never find one so kind and thoughtful to spend the rest of my years with, we are looking at 19 years, can you believe it. I love him alot. And to all our kids we didn't give valentines too, (all of you) we love you.

Well today is a holiday from work, so I thought I should add a few thoughts. Brenda is home from her stay in the hospital and is doing well. It was a long and torturous event for her and her family, especially mom. The good news is that after all that they couldn't figure anything out but a virus. She has a clean bill of health and is glad to be home and so is her mom. Kristopher is mending after breaking his arm and having surgery and so I guess you could say we have been blessed.
